Being constipated is an absolute disaster. It hurts, its uncomfortable and it just plain sucks. There was a time in my life where constipation was ruining my life. It took over my life and made me constantly have to be in the bathroom. One day I ended up eating a little bit too much dairy and I was stuck on the toilet for nearly 45 minutes. After that day, I made a choice to learn how to treat chronic constipation right then and there. For me it was something that was a long time coming. I had tried a couple of things before but I had never really found something that worked amazing for me. I really never found something that did the job until about a year and three months ago. Here are the best possible tricks for constipation that you can even start doing right now.

1.Prunes

You can actually start eating more prunes if you really want to learn how to treat chronic constipation. Prunes are not really the best tasting fruits but it is effective for treating your constipation. Prune juice is great as well if you want to get some instant relief. I would not however recommend that you rely heavily on prune juice. Instead just eat prunes daily for the best relief.

2.Drinking Water With Lemon

So far this is another lifestyle change that has made a big impact on my constipation. You can have some fresh lemons in your fridge at all time and just squeeze a little bit of it into your glass of water. Lemon has some antibiotic and natural laxative properties to it. Whenever you drink lemon water you will see a difference in your bowel movements.

3.No More Alcohol

So if you want to learn how to treat chronic constipation you will have to do this. It can be a hard thing to do for a lot of people because a lot of people are dependent on alcohol to relieve their stress. Quitting alcohol will increase your chances of getting rid of your constipation for good. Ever since I have stopped drinking all alcohol I have noticed that my problems have almost gone completely away.

4. Exercise

Something that I would do to relieve my constipation is exercise. My favorite sport is wrestling so I would put on my best wrestling shoes and head to the the nearest gym to get a nice workout in.  Wrestling shoes are a pain in the butt to wear but its worth it in the long wrong. If you do not like wrestling I would suggest any other sport out there. The best for constipation being swimming. Water, swimming and constipation mix very well!

Just three simple tips, that is really all that you need for constipation problems. I bet it seems like it is too good to be true but these three things will greatly improve your chances. One other thing before I go that I would like to say. You also have to change your diet. You need to start eating foods that are high in fiber. Obviously this is something that many people have already been telling you. It could not really be more true though. So do those things and start eating better and I promise everything will get much better for you!
